 Screen Coatings

Data shown is for one coat each of base and top coat, applied with ¼" nap roller to primed drywall by a non-professional painter.

Directions for LiquiScreen® Application:

• The surface to be coated should be clean, dry, and smooth. Coarse fabrics (such as canvas) and new drywall should be primed before applying LiquiScreen. All fabrics must be completely supported to allow good roller contact.

• Shake or stir thoroughly before use. Thinning is not recommended. Provide adequate light during application.

• LiquiScreen should be applied with a high quality ¼" nap roller.

• Base Coat Application: Apply with full length vertical strokes, overlapping about half the width of the roller. If two coats are used, allow four hours drying time between coats. Allow final Base Coat application to dry for eight hours before applying Top Coat.

• Top Coat Application: Apply a single coat with the same overlapping roller technique as Base Coat.

• Spray Application: LiquiScreen products may be applied with spray equipment. Spray techniques will affect texture, which can cause wide variation in the gain of the finished screen. We encourage you to experiment, but do warn that results are dependent on your skill with your equipment. Thinning is not recommended.

• Warm water should be used for cleanup.

• Drying times are based on conditions of 77° and 50% humidity. Do not apply below 50° or in extremely humid conditions. Keep from freezing. Store below 105°.
